WORK | 20+ years of building brands and audiences. Co-founded Bottlenotes, a niche digital content site. Started Donaldson Design Group, a brand marketing and design firm. Started as an Art Director at Grey Advertising.

WORK | Tim is a co-author of books with Anson Dorrance, Michelle Akers and Lauren Gregg, and the author of It’s Not the Glory, the story of the first 30 years of US women’s national team. Tim covered soccer at the 1996 and 2000 Olympics, and the 1999 and 2003 Women’s World Cups. He is the former senior editor of several soccer websites, including Internetsoccer.com, collegesoccer.com and womenssoccer.com.
PLAY | A former JUCO soccer player, Tim played soccer and hockey growing up in Oswego, N.Y. He has coached youth soccer for 15 years and currently coaches ’03 and ’04 girls for Greensboro United Soccer Association in North Carolina.
LEARN | Tim attended the State University of New York at Canton, the University of South Carolina, and he graduated from the SUNY Oswego with a degree in Writing Arts.

Was the University of Maryland varsity volleyball manager for several years and worked at the media center at the U.S. Open tennis tournament.

WORK | Toland is a veteran journalist, book author and former professional track and field runner. With more than 15 years editorial experience, Toland has served as editorial director of Prevention, senior editor of Men’s Journal and editor-in-chief of Inside Triathlon, in addition to other positions at several national brands. She has also worked as a reporter and native content editor for Sports Illustrated and written on health and athletic gear for The New York Times. She is co-author of “Strong Is the New Beautiful” with Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn and “The Greek Diet” with celebrity chef Maria Loi.
PLAY | Toland qualified for the 2004 U.S. Olympic Trials in both the 5K and 10K and made several national teams. She also ran as a professional Nike athlete.
