The United States and Great Britain track and field teams will hold a dual meet next summer at the London Olympic Stadium.
The meet, which will be held on July 21st, 2018, will feature nine running, jumping, hurdles and relay events. The specific events and athletes who will be competing in the meet will be announced early next year.
The U.S. has topped the overall medal standings at every Olympics and world championships since 2004, while Great Britain is one of three countries to earn at least five medals at every Olympics and World Championships since 2007. Along with the U.S. and Great Britain, the third country is Kenya.

British athletes made six podiums at the World Championships in London, including in all four relays.
