On Saturday, the United States women won the 4x100m relay at the IAAF World Championships. The U.S. edged out Great Britain and Jamaica and won the event for the first time since 2011. The relay team consisted of Allyson Felix, Tori Bowie, Aaliyah Brown and Morolake Akinosun.

The Americans finished with a time of 41.82 seconds, well ahead of Great Britain at 42.12 and Jamaica at 42.19. This was was the 15th career medal for Felix which makes her the all-time leader in world medals.
