UConn women’s basketball team honored at the Connecticut State Capitol

The UConn women’s basketball team was honored at the Connecticut State Capitol on Wednesday.

Even though the Huskies were upset by Mississippi State in the Final Four, they had previously won 111 consecutive games and have won 11 national championships since 1995.

In addition to the women’s basketball team, the UConn men’s basketball and football teams also joined, receiving a warm welcome and hanging out with Connecticut governor Dannel Malloy.
