Here’s how the women’s sports world is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day

Athletes and coaches of all nationalities in the women’s sports world became Irish for the day on Friday to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.

Everyone from college basketball players to NWHL teams and college softball coaches took to social media to show their enthusiasm for the annual holiday, while simultaneously hoping to channel the luck of the Irish with their festive posts.

What’s better than a pot of gold on St. Patrick’s Day? For Notre Dame fans, a win by the Irish women’s basketball team in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
