For the second consecutive month, Sky Blue FC forward Samantha Kerr was voted the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) Player of the Month by the NWSL Media Association.
The Australian international is only the second player in NWSL history to be voted NWSL Player of the Month for two-straight months. Before that, former Seattle Reign midfielder Kim Little was the first to do so.
In the month of June, Kerr had three goals and an assist to became the third player in the league’s history to score 30 goals in one career. So far this year Kerr has five goals.

This is the third time Kerr has been honored as NWSL Player of the Month. Sky Blue FC will next face the North Carolina Courage on Saturday, July 1.
