Rio Paralympics schedule

The Paralympic Games will commence on Wednesday, Sept. 7 with the opening ceremony in Rio. The schedule will run until the closing ceremony on Sept. 18. The 2016 games feature 23 different sports which will award medals to 225 women, 265 men and 38 mixed. Similar to the Rio Olympic games, NBC Sports will broadcast all games live.
