Orlando Pride’s Camila and Aubrey Bledsoe pick up NWSL’s goal and save of the week

In Week 9 National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) action, the Orlando Pride earned their first road win of the season defeating the Houston Dash 4-2. The Pride’s performance was highlighted by Brazilian Camila who fired a shot from 30-yards out to give Orlando the early 1-0 lead and claim the honor as NWSL goal of the week.

Camila signed with the Pride in December, 2016 after previously playing with the Tiradentes and the Houston Dash in 2015. Camila has been playing professionally since she was 18-years-old appearing first for Kindermann where she scored five goals from 2012 to 2015.

Also earning NWSL honors this week was Orlando Pride goalkeeper Aubrey Bledsoe. Bledsoe was recognized as NWSL’s save of the week for her spider-like mobility to stop Houston Dash midfielder Carli Lloyd’s shot.
