Lindsey Vonn and Hilary Knight headline ‘Games of Thrones,’ Winter Olympics promotion

With the new “Game of Thrones” season underway, many of the athletes who will be participating in the upcoming 2018 Winter Olympics posed in photos depicting the popular show to promote this winter’s games. Here are some of the many Olympians who took part in the photo shoot.

Lindsey Vonn

Vonn captured gold in the downhill alpine skiing event at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.

Mikaela Shiffrin

Shiffrin won gold in the slalom alpine skiing event at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi.

Karen Chen

After winning the 2017 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, 17-year-old Chen will enter her first Olympics in Pyeongchang.

Mirai Nagasu 

Nagasu won bronze at the 2017 Four Continents Figure Skating Championships.

Hilary Knight

Knight has won silver at both the 2010 and 2014 Winter Games and back-to-back-to-back gold medals from the past three World Championships.
