WATCH: UCLA’s Katelyn Ohashi hits a Perfect 10 on balance beam for second consecutive week

UCLA gymnast Katelyn Ohashi nailed a Perfect 10 on balance beam for the second consecutive week in the Bruins’ meet against North Carolina on Sunday.

Last week, Ohashi scored a Perfect 10 on the beam in the Bruins’ meet against PAC-12 rival Cal. That score made her the fourth Bruin this season to score a perfect 10, joining Kyla Ross, Madison Kocian and Christine Peng-Peng Lee.

“This is my first 10 ever; I probably got a 10 in elite scoring when I was horrible,” Ohashi joked after last week’s meet against Cal. “It’s pretty exciting. I wasn’t sure if I would get it when I landed. I was hoping for the best, and when everyone started screaming, I was like, ‘No way!'”

The Bruins sophomore had plenty more reason to think “No way!” this week, as she scored her second career 10.
