Kansas State women’s basketball removes Eternati Willock from team

Kansas State women’s basketball announced Wednesday they have dismissed Eternati Willock from the team. This past April, she was suspended indefinitely after being arrested on charges of criminal trespass and purchase of liquor by a minor. Coach Jeff Mittie said it was continuous violations of rules and standards that led to her removal. Here is Mittie’s full statement:

Willock made the Big-12 all freshmen team last year, averaging 6.6 points and 5.1 rebounds in 19.9 minutes per game. She was a part of a Wildcat team that knocked off Drake in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The 6-foot-4 forward was primed to play a huge role as a sophomore.
