On Friday, American gymnast Morgan Hurd amazed gymnastics fans when she won the all-around title and won silver on the balance beam during her debut at the World Championships.
The 16-year-old is now a part of a long legacy of American women—including Jordyn Wieber, Gabby Douglas and Simone Biles—who have won every world champ and Olympic all-around crown since 2011. It’s safe to say that Hurd has a lot to be proud of.
But after the competition, she received one surprise that we’re sure the young gymnast will never forget. One of her favorite authors, J.K. Rowling, congratulated Hurd on Twitter for her fantastic feat:
oh my god, thank you so much!!! Your writing has truly changed my view on the world and my life.

When Hurd initially saw Rowling’s tweet, she was besides herself:

Judging from her reaction, she may have been more excited about that Tweet than winning the gold medal. We don’t blame Hurd for that.
