U.S. snowboarder Lindsey Jacobellis teamed up with Rosina Mancari on Sunday to win the team snowboardcross event on Solitude Mountain in Utah. Jacobellis held a significant lead after her run.
Mancari held off French rider Nelly Moenne Loccoz to clinch gold for Team USA. Loccoz and Chloe Trespeuch took the silver while Italians Raffaella Brutto and Michela Moioli took bronze.
Jacobellis also earned a bronze medal on Saturday at the U.S. Grand Prix Snowboardcross event. The event was the second World Cup stop of the season.

The three-time Olympian scored her 45th career World Cup podium despite heavy snowfall during Saturday’s race. The 2006 Olympic silver medalist won both her heat and her semifinal, but could not catch Eva Samkova of the Czech Republic in the final. Samkova led from start to finish to take gold. Moioli won silver.
In the small final, Mancari won to clinch seventh overall. Faye Guilini finished ninth.
It was the first snowboarding World Cup event in the United States in four years.
