Indiana Fever guard and former Penn State standout Maggie Lucas doesn’t back down from any challenge, even if it comes from her own coach. That’s why Lucas, who has been with the Fever since 2014, stepped up and accepted the provocation of Indiana head coach Pokey Chatman on Friday.
Chatman challenged the former two-time Big Ten Player of the Year and USBWA All-American to knock down a half-court shot. So Lucas took things one step further and hit three straight, while in a knee brace.
