Female athletes celebrate Global Running Day

Grab your shoes and get out and run for Global Running Day.

Wednesday is the annual holiday for people around the world to “celebrate the joys of running.” Whether it’s a jog around the block, running some sprints at the local track or running a marathon, there’s tons of ways to celebrate.

Unsurprisingly, some of the world’s best female athletes were out celebrating the day, and took to Instagram and Twitter to show us how.
