On Tuesday afternoon, FC Kansas City announced that they have waived midfielder Amanda Frisbie. Frisbie was only active in three games for Kansas City after she was traded from the Western New York Flash in the 2015 offseason.
Frisbie played at the University of Portland and was chosen seventh overall in the 2014 College Draft by Seattle Reign FC. As a senior at the University of Portland (2013) she became the teams first first-team All-American since 2009. As a center back in college she was named 2013 West Coast Conference Defender of the Year.

Frisbie’s career with Seattle Reign FC as a rookie was cut short due to an injury and then led to a trade with Western New York Flash.
