FC Kansas City have acquired defender Rebecca Moros from the Houston Dash. The Dash will now get the highest third-round draft pick at the 2018 NWSL College Draft in return.
“The knowledge and experience that Becca brings will be vital for us in achieving our goals for next season,” head coach Vlatko Andonovski said in a club press release. “She is a great player with great understanding of the game and can adjust to any style, system and philosophy very fast.”
Moros has been in the NWSL for three years and has made 58 appearances, recording 53 starts. The defender has played for three different teams during her professional campaign in the NWSL, Portland Thorns FC, FCKC and the Dash.
“Becca will do well in Kansas City and we wish her the best moving forward,” Dash head coach Randy Waldrum said in the club’s press release. “She’ll bring a lot of experience and stability to Kansas City as they try to return to the playoffs.”

In 2015, Moros played for FCKC and started all of the 20 regular-season games in the backline. That same year the club did not allow a single goal throughout the playoffs.
