The WNBA announced late Thursday afternoon that Diana Taurasi has been suspended for one game without pay for accumulating seven technical fouls this season.
The Mercury guard was whistled for her seventh with 1:41 left in the second quarter of Wednesday’s game against the Washington Mystics.
The suspension rules Taurasi out of July 16’s game against the San Antonio Stars.
