The Chicago Sky are ready to “Fly the W.”
The popular phrase from the Sky’s cross-town baseball-team Cubs became more popular last year when the Cubs ended their 108-year World Series curse—the longest drought in professional sports history. Now, the Sky are hoping to take some of the Cubs’ magic themselves, and to do that, some of the players took in the Cubs’ 5-4 win over the San Francisco Giants Wednesday night.
Sky players Tamera Young, Stefanie Dolson and Imani Boyette not only got to throw out the first pitch, but also lead the seventh-inning stretch at Wrigley Field.

But for the seventh-inning stretch, all three players got to participate in the singing of “Take Me Out to the Ball Game.”
